Persecuted & Forgotten, and the 12 Days of Rosary (October 2020)

This year, we are taking the theme Persecuted & Forgotten as the general prayer intention for the month of October. This intention is to make aware of the persecution of Christians in our times (especially in Kerala by various fanatic groups). Along with our personal prayer intentions, let’s pray for the Martyrs. (Note : The feast of Our Lady of the Rosary was established by Pope Pius V for the safety of the Church from the attacks of the Ottoman Empire).

We will be listening every day to the real story of a persecuted person from recent times. The aim is not to learn about the person, but to focus on the reality of persecution. All stories are taken from the report of Aid to the Church in Need, which is an internationally accepted report for its credibility. ( https://acninternational.org/martyrs/ )

We will be doing 12 Days of Rosary from 30 September, 2020 – 11 October 2020. Every family from each wards are welcome to sign-up and donate for the mass intention on that day.
